Scott Hines

Scott has enjoyed three rewarding careers and considers himself to be an serial entrepreneur. His background is in sales and marketing and his first career began after graduating college with a B.S. in Marketing in 1985. He was hired by BellSouth and began a successful 11 year career in sales and management. During his 11 years at BellSouth he was given increasing levels of responsibility, resulting in nine promotions in eleven years. Scott was a consistent winner of the President’s Club award as both a top salesperson and manager. Scott ended his successful career as the Sales and Operations Manager in Tennessee for BellSouth Yellow Pages.

Scott’s business interest had always been based on people, management and sales – so it was a natural fit to transition into the mortgage banking business. For the next ten years Scott enjoyed an award winning career as a mortgage banker at several local Middle Tennessee banks and mortgage companies. Scott served as the area manager for United Financial Mortgage Corporation for several years before opening his own mortgage company in 2006.
Scott completely transitioned out of the mortgage business in 2008 and began working full time in real estate sales, marketing and development. Scott has been a Real Estate Professional since 2008 when he was the “Rookie of the Year” for The Buyers’ Agent of Nashville & Middle Tennessee. He worked at that firm for three successful years and then opened his own real estate firm. He operated that firm for two years until he was recruited by Tennessee’s top selling Realtor, the first to sell a billion dollars’ worth of homes, to come join his organization. In 2013 Scott joined Benchmark Realty LLC and began developing what would become a highly successful team of Real Estate professional.

Scott founded and serves as the CEO of, a national referral company for real estate buyers searching for top buyer’s agents in their area.

In his spare time Scott enjoy traveling, golf, technology and SEC football. He is married with two grown sons. He has been a Williamson County resident for thirty years. He is an active member at Fellowship Bible Church and a man after God’s heart believing that faith and work are a natural combination.
